These on-the-go goodies are great to take along to the beach, a picnic or on vacation. They have the great flavor and texture of brownies in a cookie shape.

Are you looking for a cookie recipe that has ingredients you probably have in your cupboard? Are you looking for a tasty and easy to mix cookie recipe that makes plenty of cookies? Well then, you have found it! This cookie recipe is yummy, easy to mix and doesn't require special ingredients. I am making them right now to flesh out my cookie trays for Christmas. I will make this recipe again and not just for the holiday. I do have one suggestion though, drop the cookies by level tablespoon. Rounded tablespoons produce cookies that are larger than I like them to be. Try it both ways and decide for yourself.

These are great. With a Husband and 5 boys, they don't stay around for long. I always double the batch because they are so good. You could also add chocolate chips, peanut butter chips or chopped pecans to these.
