Everyone who has tried these cookies says they're the best they've ever eaten. I'm sure the addition of pudding mix makes all the difference.

Substitute for NutsIf your family loves the crunch of nuts in brownies and chocolate chip cookies, but someone is allergic to them, add granola or crisp rice cereal in the same amounts as the nuts called for in your recipes. But, always check the granola or cereal packages for nut allergy alerts to be certain.

Loved the original recipe but as another person commented they are fun to experiment with! We used pumpkin spice pudding, white chocolate chips and pecans in place of other ingred. Turned out great! Thanks for sharing recipe!

This has become a family favorite cookie recipe (we affectionately call them "pudding cookies")! After the vanilla, we have tried chocolate, white chocolate, and even pumpkin spice pudding mixes (I added some pumpkin pie spice). They are all delicious, and the kids love to experiment with flavors of pudding and chips! White chocolate with swirled chips (semisweet/white) is probably our favorite, but tonight I made devil's food pudding and pecans. Another winner!

Good cookies I did have to bake them a bit longer. Probaly because I used a cooking stone instead of cookie sheet. Will make again

Everyone agreed these are the best chocolate chip cookies ever. I'm making them again today and adding some peanut butter chips to the chocolate.

My husband says this is the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I have ever made. Oddly enough the first time I made them I forgot to add the baking soda and my husband prefers them made that way. I do sneak about 1/2 tsp of baking soda into the recipe so the cookies flatten just a bit to suit my tastes. I also substitute milk chocolate chips for semi-sweet as the recipe calls for to also suit our tastes.

I found these cookies easy to make but my family thought they needed more sugar they didn't seem sweet eought. My regular chocolate chip cookies were rated higher than these by my family.

Maybe it's just my oven, but I had to cook them a lot longer than the recipe called for. They did turn out very nice though.
