I followed the recipe exactly. I baked them for 15 minutes and they seemed to still be a little underdone so I shut the oven off and left them in for an additional 3 minutes. They still seemed slightly underdone in the center but the edges were starting to overbake. By the time it cooled, the end result was a delicious brownie that was moist. Those complaining about it being dry probably overbaked them and those complaining about the sugar should re-look at the amounts of the ingredients instead of just the ingredients themselves. One-eighteenth of any of those ingredients is a pretty small amount as the serving size is 18 brownies.

Very disappointing. Taste was very bland and the texture nothing like a brownie

These were yummy, didn't last long at all! I did make a few changes, used sweetened applesauce and sweetened chocolate, but otherwise the same. They turned out great!

Loved 'em!! Made them for my homemaker club and thought they were great. Had to bake them a little longer than it said to but will definately make them again.

Couldn't even give this one star. Very dry, not very flavorful. Very dissapointed!!! Chewy Chocolate sounded just what I was looking for but these were definatley not chewy. I will not try these again.

The consistency was good and they looked dark and rich but the flavor was bland.

I too am dissapointed. Anything with corn syrup is definately UNHEALTHY!! Corn syrup can actually raise blood pressure too... I dont believe these are healthy at all. I would just make the normal version and eat half of a serving rather than waste time and money on this version. sorry taste of home as I LOVE your food, ideas, menus, and recipes. this one is very questionable.

With all the brown sugar, and the chocolate AND even the unsweetened applesauce, I would NEVER give one of these to my diabetic husband. It would send his blood sugar way over 350 if he were to eat one of these! WHY do they continue to tout these recipes as 'diabetic friendly' I'll never know!!!!

How can these be diabetic friendly with semisweet chocolate, brown sugar and corn syrup as part of the ingredient list????
