I love this quiche. Instead of sour pickle relish, I used a layer of sliced dill pickles. Worked out great. It tasted better then cheeseburger pie.a

I've made this several times for my hubby and he absolutely loves it. I prefer to use pork sausage instead of the cheeseburger, but both ways are very good.

What a great find! I needed to use some ground beef, but worried about making this, since I only had low/reduced fat ingredients on hand. I used skim milk, light mayo, lean beef and reduced fat cheddar with great results! Our whole family liked it, which is rare. My oldest child said the flavors reminded her of stroganoff. My husband liked his with hot sauce on top. I will make this again!

This recipe is very similar to one I've used for years and that is very popular in our family. I use a dash or two of hot sauce instead of oregano, and the original recipe I have calls for 1 cup cheddar and 1/2 cup Swiss. Also, instead of 3 eggs I use 2 eggs and 1.5 Tbsp. cornstarch. I've been known to throw in green chilies, mushrooms or even a bit of relish at times. It's good the way it is, but also works well to throw in those extras if you want to change things up now and then. Very easy and tasty recipe.

Easy, very good, and even better the next day for lunch! We put hot sauce on top when serving it, just adds a little kick.
