This was quick and simple. Everyone from Nana to the youngest of my 4 (which two are very picky eaters) children loved this. We will definitely be making this again.

My family loved this recipe. I crumbled bacon and put shredded cheese instead of velveeta. Definitely will make this again!!

These are so simple & quick to make. Loved them. I used 1/2 cup bbq sauce instead of ketchup and omitted the sugar & worcestershire sauce. My grocery store was out of biscuit dough so i used flakey rolls instead - worked nicely.

ps, I see the person below me asking if anyone has made these in mini-muffin tins. I did both. 12 regular and about 4 or 5 leftover which I made mini ones out of. Tasted the same, and though I meant to cook them for less time, I accidentally left them both in the same and they were just fine.
My hubby had a bunch of guys over for a football party today and they ate these (along with a bunch of other football friendly food). Anyway, they couldn't stop raving about these. I used the 'plain biscuits' recipe found on this site. A keeper made exactly as is, but yes: great potential for variation.

Has anyone made these in mini muffin tins or is it just for regular size muffin tins?

I have been making these for my family for years. A simpler way is to use the hamburger browned with onions and use pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese. There are many variations if you use your imagination. I have used shredded chicken, beef, or pork with BBQ sauce or teriyaki sauce. Shredded meats with gravy (leftover or canned) and add in peas or leftover veggies of any type. This is a great way to use little dibs and dabs in the fridge.

This is very tasty and very kid friendly. The mess and clean up are also minimal. I did not use velveeta because, well, I don't like the idea of processed cheese. I also did not give it full starts because the meat to biscuit ratio is off and I ended up with leftover meat even though I dug deep wells. All said and done I will absolutely make this again my 2 year didn't quibble a bit and began shoveling it in right away. I'm thinking potluck or pre-trick or treating dinner. Yummers!

My kids liked it. Gasp! I didn't really like the brown sugar in it because I just don't like sweet meat but I was still good.

These are great, very easy to make! I saw a lot of comments about the high sodium, try subsitituing the velveeta with a low sodium cheddar. Velveeta has 400mg of sodium in one ounce!

This was very very good! During dinner my husband and I came up with multiple variations that we could make. My 2 year old loved this recipe as well. Not thrilled about the high sodium level but next time around I will adjust ingredients to lower the amount of sodium.

Made these tonight. Hubby and I loved them! I don't know what took me so long to make them. This is definitely a keeper!!

I love this recipe. I also add onion. I replace the ketchup with barbecue sauce and omit the brown sugar (the bbq sauce has enough sugar). The high sodium is mostly from the biscuit mix so I either make my own or when in a hurry, butter bread slices (using whole wheat or whole grain) and press each slice into the muffin cups.

Loved this recipe! It was so easy to make. I used ground turkey instead of ground beef and put in some low sodium soy sauce since I was out of Worcestershire and it worked out just fine. Paired it with some corn and green beans to round out the meal. For those complaining about the sodium, there are ways to cut it down some. Use ground turkey instead of ground beef, use Worsestershire sauce that's low sodium, and use low fat cheese instead of Velveeta. For those on low sodium diet, they usually know some tricks on how to lower the amounts in recipes.

LOVE LOVE this recipe and so does my brother. I like to add chopped onions to the burger while browning I also cut back the brown sugar to 1 tablespoon. When I make them for my boyfriend I use crescents instead since he likes them better. A must try, so delicious!!!!
