I like it and i have made it twice but my issue with the biscuits are that they are not cooked thru all the way. both times the biscuits are still doughey and don't make it worth eating. next time i will try to cook the biscuits and then place it on top of the dish when almost finished!?!?!

My husband and I loved this, but it was definitely not 5 servings. We ate the entire thing, just the two of us and our 22 month old daughter. I will be making it again, but I would have to double up the meat.

Made it for my day care children and they loved it. Definitely needs vegetables served with it. Doesn't quite need as much cheese as suggested especially when doubling recipe.

i made this the other night. It was tasty but had more of a sloppy joe taste than cheeseburgers. Also I had to put tinfoil on top after the 20 minutes and backe for another 20 minutes so that the biscuits cooked through. Next time I will add the biscuits on top after the mix gets baked though.

Haven't made this but looks like too much sodium.

My husband has been making somthing similar since he was a kid. Brown a lb. of hamburger, drain, add whatever veggies (like onions, peppers), that you like (or have left over) and pour a can of pork & beans over the top. We cook everything to boilding in a cast iron skillet and then layer the biscuits over the top of the hot mixture and pop it in the oven until the biscuits brown. Every time we take this somewhere it disappears fast and we get lots of requests for the recipe.
