Had very little flavor and my buscuits burned after 15 minutes in a 400 degree oven but then they were raw at the bottom where the meat was. recipe had too much cheese too.

Made this for my hubby tonight and he thought it tasted more southwestern style since i substituted cheddar cheese for jalapeano cheese.

I agree with some of the other people. It tastes more like BBQ then a cheeseburger. My biscuits didn't all fit, but maybe I just had bigger biscuits. I had to cut some of them in half.

I make something very similar to this recipe. We brown the ground beef, add a can of Bush's original baked beans (15 oz), 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, and 1 cup of BBQ sauce (I use Kraft original), heat and stir until it's bubbly. Place mixture in casserole dish. One difference to my recipe is before you put the biscuits on top you cut them in half so you have two half moon shapes and place them cut side down on top of the mixture then follow the oven settings for the biscuits. There is never a problem with the biscuits not being done.

I was just reading the previous reviews. I cannot imagine 2 people eating an entire pan of this between them. When I serve this I thought 4 servings were about right. One pound of meat for 2 people and they want to add more? I am hoping that was a mistype.

I like it and i have made it twice but my issue with the biscuits are that they are not cooked thru all the way. both times the biscuits are still doughey and don't make it worth eating. next time i will try to cook the biscuits and then place it on top of the dish when almost finished!?!?!

My husband and I loved this, but it was definitely not 5 servings. We ate the entire thing, just the two of us and our 22 month old daughter. I will be making it again, but I would have to double up the meat.

Made it for my day care children and they loved it. Definitely needs vegetables served with it. Doesn't quite need as much cheese as suggested especially when doubling recipe.

i made this the other night. It was tasty but had more of a sloppy joe taste than cheeseburgers. Also I had to put tinfoil on top after the 20 minutes and backe for another 20 minutes so that the biscuits cooked through. Next time I will add the biscuits on top after the mix gets baked though.
