This was delicious! I made the mistake of buying basically whole catfish minus flesh and a head so once I managed to cut filets out of them it was really quick to prepare. I will definitely make this again.

I made this when I got my Feb/Mar 2011 issue of Simple & Delicious. This recipe is so great. The coleslaw makes the sandwich. My 13-year-old grandson said "I don't like catfish." I asked him to take a bite of my sandwich. He was over making his own after one bite. He told me to be sure and keep the recipe. I have made this a couple of times since and it will stay in my binder of "Favorite Family Recipes"

I have made these several times since they first appeared in the March 2011 issue of Simple and Delicious. They are a big hit in my family. The coleslaw is what really makes this dish. I always have coleslaw left over and enjoy eating it by itself.
