I created this candy by combining my husband's favorite cookie recipe and my mom's caramel dip. These sweets really appeal to kids...plus, they can help make them!—Tamara Holschen, Anchor Point, Alaska

Love the caramel sauce for this recipe. Everyone raved about how good they were.

I made these for our church bake sale and people loved them! I used red and green toothpicks and colored the cereal red and green also. I divided the cereal into two gallon-sized bags and added one tsp of liquid food coloring to each bag. After shaking until the color was evenly distributed, the cereal got a little chewy. I spread the cereal on a rimmed cookie sheet and baked it at 200 degrees for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until it was crispy again. When dipping the marshmallows, I followed someone else's advice and spun the toothpick between my thumb and forefinger to remove excess caramel before dipping in the cereal and I didn't have any problems with puddles at the bottom. My 7 year-old LOVES these!

These are delicious! The butter adds a great creamy taste. I was hesitant about the cinnamon but it was wonderful; it compliments the caramel very well.

These were very tasty but they are very time consuming

Concerning the person who stated that these were 'gross' and threw them away, I can't even imagine why anyone wouldn't at least 'like' these. I made them last year at Christmas, and the crowd went wild over them. I thought they were the best sweet snack I'd had in years. Absolutely delicious!! I've been forewarned by family and friends that these NEED to be on our Christmas celebration table this year!!!

I had the best time using this caramel recipe. I try all kinds of food on sticks and this was the easiest and most fun! I dipped my marshmallows in the caramel (I omited the cinammon when I made my batch) and when they set up, I dipped them in chocolate and decorated with nuts and sprinkles. They turned out pretty and tasted awesome. I've already shared this recipe with my cousin who can't wait to try it out for herself. I definately will be making these again!

I made this for an office Christmas Party. I couldn't find decorative toothpicks so I used straight pretzel sticks. I thought they were okay, but everyone else seemingly loved them. I HAVE to make them all the time now.

Wow! I made these for an ADULT bday party and everyone went nuts for them! They didn't come out as neat or covered as the picture but they were still so very good!!
