Candy Bar Cookie Squares Recipe
  • Prep: 10 min. Bake: 25 min. + cooling
  • Yield: 24 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 package (18-1/4 ounces) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 Snickers candy bars (2.07 ounces each) , chopped

Directions

  • In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, brown sugar, butter and eggs until well blended. Stir in chopped candy.
  • Spread into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into squares. Yield: 2 dozen.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (1 each) equals 159 calories, 7 g fat (3 g saturated fat), 28 mg cholesterol, 187 mg sodium, 23 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 2 g protein.

very easy and yummy. I used a chocolate mix instead of yellow. Next time I make these I will add an extra candy bar or two.

I made this as written and next time will grease the pan and try a german chocolate cake mix.

I used ten Snickers Fun Size Bars, and baked in a 15x10" Sheet Pan in my convection oven for 18 minutes. The height was perfect, and I definitely recommend using this size pan instead of the 13x9".

Yes, these certainly DO disappear fast! I made these for a church meeting and a huge plate was empty within 5 minutes. I saw one man take 4. I got a ton of compliments, too.

These turned out SO good. Very moist and chewy and you could really use any candy bar with them. So easy too!

I tried the chocolate mix with 4 caramilk bars...it's probably the most requested dessert from my kids and their friends. So easy and delicious.
