Ingredients

  • 3 cups chilled buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup cold lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • Dash ginger

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients; blend or shake well. Serve with ginger. Yield: 3 servings.

Nutrition Facts: 1 serving (1 cup) equals 326 calories, 7 g fat (4 g saturated fat), 29 mg cholesterol, 342 mg sodium, 59 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, 10 g protein.
