Buttermilk Peach Slush Recipe

  • Yield: 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup apricot nectar
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 cups unsweetened sliced peaches
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 5 ice cubes

Directions

  • In a blender, combine all ingredients. Cover and process until smooth. Pour into glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings.

Nutritional Analysis: One serving (prepared with 1% buttermilk and 2 tablespoons sugar) equals 103 calories, trace fat (trace saturated fat), 2 mg cholesterol, 34 mg sodium, 25 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 2 g protein. Diabetic Exchange: 1-1/2 fruit.
