Loved this simple quick bread. It had a good taste & the nuts really added a lot to it. I used butter shortening, melted, but did the rest the same. A nice quick bread to make now & then. I think next time, I may add a little ground cinnamon for some added flavor. Thanks for a good recipe.

This bread was so good I had to hide it from my husband or he would have eaten the whole loaf!! I added some blueberries and will definitely keep this recipe handy!!
