Buttermilk Boost Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup chilled orange juice
  • 1/4 cup chilled unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions

  • In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process until blended. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 2 servings.

Nutritional Facts 3/4 cup equals 129 calories, 1 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 5 mg cholesterol, 129 mg sodium, 26 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, 4 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1 starch, 1/2 fruit, 1/2 reduced-fat milk.
