Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 8 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 6 tablespoons milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Food coloring, optional

Directions

  • In a large bowl, beat butter, confectioners' sugar, milk and vanilla
  • (frosting will be thick). Add food coloring if desired. Yield: 5
  • cups.
