This will be my third year to make these treats. The dough is very easy to handle. The time involved is worth the fun of seeing everyone's face light up when they spy these happy little guys. Not only are they cute..they have a great flavor. Everyone looks forward to these taste sensations.

When I mixed up the dough, it was really dry so I had to add more milk. If I make these cookies again, I would not add any of the food coloring until the white dough balls for the bodies are completed.
