Years ago when I was in college, my roommate would frequently make this economical casserole. It's so easy to put together, and on serving goes a long way.—Cindee Ness, Horace, North Dakota

Really good! I also used mashed up kidney beans in place of the refried beans - and I added about 1/2 cup salsa to the ground beef mixture as it looked a little dry. I halved the recipe and used the extra crescent roll dough on the top so it came out a little more like a taco pie - my husband loved it!

Quick, easy an tastes great. I didn't have a can of refried beans when I got ready to make this so I used a can of kidney beans mashed with a potato masher and it still came out great.

This was okay; I wasn't super impressed, but my boyfriend liked it. Next time I will use flour tortillas instead of the crescent dinner rolls.

This was really easy and fun to make. My fiance absolutely loved it and says it's his favorite mexican dish yet.
