With sliced hot dogs and several types of beans in the mixture, this hearty dish could be a meal in itself. It was very popular at my son's cowboy theme party. We turned our kitchen peninsula into a "covered wagon" to serve the buffet.

This is the best beans with hotdogs ever. We left out the salsa and used northern beans in place of the kidney beans. SOOOO good. A great belly warmer on a cold day.

Wonderful dish! I made this last year for a 4th of July BBQ and it was a hit.

My family loves this. We've used little smokies cut in half instead of hot dogs and also made them in the crock pot.
