This recipe was inspired by my daughter's favorite food - buffalo wings! It tastes just like it came from a restaurant. --Melissa Millwood, Lyman, South Carolina

Shred and Freeze CheeseIt’s usually cheaper to buy cheese in blocks than in shredded form. So I purchase large quantities of cheddar, Monterey Jack and mozzarella, then shred them myself in my food processor. I store the shredded cheese in the freezer in heavy-duty resealable plastic bags, so I have it at my fingertips whenever it’s needed. —Evelyn O., Parma, Ohio

My family & I really like lasagne so I thought this would be a good twist for lasagne. This was the worst lasagne I have ever tasted! I would rate the frozen Stouffers lasagne's higher than this recipe! All you could taste & smell was the wing sauce which in general is very vinegary. Family barely forced it down. It sat in the fridge for a week untouched & I ended up throwing it away. So dissapointed because I was looking for a different tasting lasagne other than traditional red sauce. After trying this I will gladly stick the same ol same which gets 5 thumbs up every time! Not sure how in the world it won such an award?!! Usually Taste of Home recipes are very tasty but sadly I do believe they got this one wrong. :-(

There are not to many recipies I can try because my husband is a very meat and potato person but he does love his lasagna so thought I would give it a try. He loved it! Although I was not fond of the wing sauce I did enjoy a different spin on the same old same old lasagna. I did not add all of the blue cheese that it called since we are not blue cheese eaters and I also omitted the chicken since my husband does not eat chicken either but it turned out wonderful, tasty and different and I am planning on making it for our annual "Easter Egg Dying" night next week. This is a keeper recipie for me that I will use over and over again.

I have made this twice now! My family loves it! the 1st time I didnt have enough sauce, so I used a bigger bottle of wing sauce and it worked out great!

My family loved this recipe! the sauce was a little runny. When I make it again I will not cook the noodles first and I think it will turn out fine.

FYI...I noticed in several reviews people complained about the sauce being "thin". Make sure to drain the diced tomatoes, and I recommend Muir Glenn Organic diced tomatoes, they are worth the extra cost and are thicker than regular canned diced tomatoes. I didn't have a problem with the sauce being thin at all, and it smelled and tasted great!
I made this for an Italian potluck and only got a small taste of it before it went out on the table...which was good as the dish was empty by the time I went through the line. Got several comments on how much people liked it. I could not find ground chicken, so substituted ground turkey, and used Texas Pete's buffalo wing sauce. I did not use the blue cheese, as I am not a fan. I substituted sharp cheddar instead. Good recipe, a "keeper".
