This recipe was inspired by my daughter's favorite food - buffalo wings! It tastes just like it came from a restaurant. --Melissa Millwood, Lyman, South Carolina

Shred and Freeze CheeseIt’s usually cheaper to buy cheese in blocks than in shredded form. So I purchase large quantities of cheddar, Monterey Jack and mozzarella, then shred them myself in my food processor. I store the shredded cheese in the freezer in heavy-duty resealable plastic bags, so I have it at my fingertips whenever it’s needed. —Evelyn O., Parma, Ohio

I made LOTS of changes to this recipe & it was awesome! The carrot, celery & Italian seasoning didn't sound like it belonged with buffalo sauce so I left it out. Instead of diced tomato I used a can of Rotel. I also used no-boil lasagna noodles. This was definitely a spicy dish. I loved it but the family thought it was TOO spicy. I have leftovers for lunch for a week.

This recipe was fantastic - even my 11 year old son went back for seconds. I tweaked it a little... we used Frank's Red Hot instead of the Buffalo Wing Sauce, we omited the Blue cheese and added more shredded cheese and we used shredded chicken instead of ground. It's a definate keeper in this house though (:

I have been wanting to make this recipe since I got the issue, but was waiting for ground chicken and blue cheese to go on sale. It never did, but with my daughter and her boyfriend coming home for Easter from college, I thought it was the perfect time to try it. I only used 1 pound of ground chicken and 5 oz. of blue cheese to avoid buying two packages of each. Other than that I made it exactly. The sauce did appear a little thin, and I did not have quite 3/4 cup for each layer, but I figured that might be due to not quite enough chicken. It was not too watery after baking though. Everyone liked it and most had seconds. The leftovers were eaten at every opportunity. I do think I would like to try this with shredded chicken instead of ground. The ground chicken does not have a lot of flavor. I will definitely make this again.

The 1st time I made this I used Frank's Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce (not the REAL HOT one) and it had quite a kick for me. I cut a small red potato in half and put it in while simmering (I removed the potatoe for the baking) and with the cheeses added, the temperature dropped to an enjoyable spiciness.I handed out samples to about 6 people and they all raved about it saying that Melissa deserved every cent of the prize money.

Yes I really liked this recipe. I used a little less of the hot sauce but followed the directions for everything else. It really does remind me of Buffalo Chx wings. I learned to make chicken wings when we moved to Buffalo many years ago so it has a soft spot in my heart.

We live in Buffalo NY. The more Buffalo Chicken Wing recipes we have the better!!! My family loves chicken wings and this Lasagna was a BIG hit when we served it at a dinner party! The guests took all of the leftovers home.
