First trimmed off the base of the sprout. I melted the butter in the pan for 2 minutes, then roasted the Brussels sprouts in the oven at 350 for 40 minutes. Then added the rest of the ingredients as directed.for the bacon I microwaved it for 9 minutes before chopping it up. This was delicious. Always heard terrible things about Brussels sprouts now they are my favorite vegetable
