Broccoli Raisin Salad Recipe

For a simple but sensational side dish, I throw together this refreshing salad. I adjusted a friend's recipe to cut a few calories. The raisins add sweetness, and the bacon gives it a nice crunch.—Angela Oelschlaeger, Tonganoxie, Kansas

I took this dish camping trip to the potluck dinner. Everyone loved it; there were no leftovers!

Great side dish! This went fast at our family christmas party! To be more festive I added craisins instead of raisins. Wonderful flavor!

Followed to the T...We like a lot of crunch so I melted 1/2 stick butter in fry pan and toasted the sesame seeds and a package of crushed ramen noodles without season packet ...store in plastic container until ready to serve then stir into salad...this is the first thing to disappear at our family cookouts !!

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars! This has simply the perfect combination of ingredients. I am know for tweaking every recipe I come across, but for this one I won't change a thing. My husband just loves it and told me to make it again as often as I like. It's a great refreshing salad that is oh so simple to make! Love it!

I made this for my husbands birthday party and it was a big hit. I added sunflower seeds and a bit more bacon. I am making it again for a family reunion. This is now one of my favorite recipes...so yummy.
