I first sampled these when my cousin made them for a bridal shower. All the ladies raved over the fantastic flavor of their individual "casseroles." —Shirley Gerber, Roanoke, Illinois

Why the cereal? I saw it in another muffin cup recipe too.

I had a hard time fitting everything into the biscuit in the regular muffing tin. I was afraid that it would end up all over the bottom of my over, but it did not overflow. I think that next time I will use the larger muffin tin to make it easier to fill. These were delicious and easy to make. We enjoyed them as leftovers for lunch the next day as well.

My whole family liked it. I did use Ritz Crackers instead of Rice Crispies. They asked me to make it again. Thank you. I am going to try a Ham and Cheese variation also.

This was quite tasty!! I did change it up a bit, I used chicken sausage instead of regular chicken, fresh broccoli, and ritz crackers instead of rice krispies. I think the ritz crackers caused it to be a bit more salty, but not so much that it wasn't good. Also, I used 2 packages of chicken sausage which was WAY more than 1 cup, it was enough for 15 cups. I also cooked the chicken sausage and then threw the broccoli, soup, and a bit of chicken broth in the pan and cooked that for a bit to get the broccoli cooked and blend the flavors. I added the cheese to this mixture in the last few minutes. I made these ahead and then popped them in the oven for about 25-30 minutes and they came out fabulously!!

I made several apps for New Years and this, by far was the favorite! The only change I would make is to use mini muffin pans and use one biscuit for every two. They were filling and we had a lot of apps to choose from. Most were cut in half. But SO delicious!

This is a easy, delicious meal! Instead of using cereal and soup, I substituted coconut milk creamer, no sugar added.

These are excellent. They freeze well and make for an instant meal.

I used cream of chicken soup, omitted the crisp rice cereal, and added shredded mozzarella, along with the cheddar cheese. My family loved them and I reheated the leftovers in a 350 degree oven, on a cookie sheet, for 20 minutes and they crisped up nicely. I'll definitely make this recipe again!

Made these for the family, and everyone loved them. Made my biscuits with Bisquick. Used the rice crispies, but couldn't figure out why they are in there. Am making these for a church dinner this week for 140 people. Actually, pretty easy, even for a crowd!

Super easy to make these and it makes a lot. I only made half of this and still ending up with lots of filling to stuff these. I think the rice crispies keeps the biscuit from getting soggy and it cooked nicely. Leftovers actually warmed up decently.

Very tasty. I used the large muffin tins (6 per tin). I did have some trouble getting them out of the tins. I'm thinking I should have used two biscuits in each muffin tin. Also, I may have filled them too full. I will definitely make these again.

I halved the recipe, omitted the rice cereal (didn't see the point) and used cream of chicken instead of cream of mushroom soup and they were SO good; I will definitely make this recipe again!!!!

I experimented with different size muffin pans and biscut types. I found the best to use was the jumbo muffin pan (6 per pan) and two country style biscuts per muffin tin.

I used Pillsbury crescent rolls in a Large muffin pan and whatever cereal I have on hand, not necessarily rice crispies and it was simple, easy & good. It's definitely a keeper.

Do you measure the broccoli frozen or after cooked? Everyone enjoyed these; would try putting Durkee FF onions on top next time for alittle more flavor.

I added even more flavoring and they were really bland and dry.

I substituted mozzarella for the cheddar, since it was what I had in the fridge, and used fresh broccoli, lightly steamed. I also had the larger Grands biscuits which meant less cheese & cereal in the bottoms of the cups (otherwise there would not have been enough room in the cups for filling ~ haha). I don't know what the crispy rice does for the recipe...it wasn't noticeable at all when eating these.

crisp rice is the same as rice kripys and if freezeing do it after they are cooked

I really enjoyed these. Thank you so much for sharing. I didn't have the rice crispies so I omitted them. I will try them next time. What i loved about this was that it was all things I already had in my house. A delicious dinner on the fly! ty

I tried the original version of this recipe and found that there was just far too much starch for my taste and too fatty. So I omitted the rice cereal, the cheese, and the biscuits and used won ton wrappers instead. I sprayed the muffin pan first to keep the won tons from sticking. I used cream of chicken with a tablespoon of yellow curry to the dish. Lastly I made a topping of plain bread crumbs with real butter softened and some shreeded strong Cheddar cheese. My family really liked this much better.

Super easy to make! I made two versions due to picky kids; one with broccoli and one without broccoli. I went light on stuffing, I was fearful it would fall out. Next time I will stuff to the MAX.

These are super easy to make and taste really good. The only thing I changed was the cream of mushroom soup. Due to picky eaters, I had to use cream of broccoli. Still quite tasty.
