I made these with Taste of Home's Spinach Egg Bake and they were great!They tasted better than the processed patties that are bought at the store- these are so much healthier. They are also very simple to make and make a great side to breakfast dishes!

I use this recipe all the time - with both pork & turkey. The nutmeg is what makes it great. And there's just the right amount of cayenne.

These were really good sausages with some changes. I used ground pork because I don't like ground turkey. I used poultry seasoning instead of sage. I cooked the sausages in a non-stick skillet for about 15 minutes with no oil needed.

Wonderful recipe.....I left out the cheese and they were still great !
