To fit in the bread machine, we adjusted the amounts of ingredients to produce only one loaf. This version retails the same sweet taste and tender texture as the original loaf, and there's no need to knead the dough by hand.Taste of Home Test Kitchen, Greendale, Wisconsin

I am new at baking bread with a bread machine. This is the first recipe I tried and I haven't changed. Last weekend I used it to make bread rolls for a farewell lunch we held at work yesterday. They turned out perfectly. I got so many compliments I was beaming.Thank you Taste of Home. My husband jokes with my kids that my mothers house is the only place in Michigan where white bread is available since I've been making him eat wheat for so long. I make this bread, and he can't tell its wheat. Most times, I even substitute some of the white flour for soy flour - just for some added protein. He'll never know...This bread comes out perfect every time and is great with soups and stews. LOVE it!

So good! First bread machine recipe that didn't taste like just flour... just finished baking a loaf and it's half gone!

My whole family loves it. Very light texture and great for both sandwiches and toast:)

This is really amazing. I wanted to find an easy wheat bread for the bread machine. I made it one night, and I was quite impressed with the flavor. My 6-year-old daughter, who can't stand wheat bread, loves it! And my friend who refuses to eat bread machine bread, loves it! I am in the middle of my second batch. The only change I made was using the liquid organic agave sugar instead of the honey.

I love this bread. I don't make it in the machine. I hade make it. Mix, rise, punch, rise, put in pans, rise half way then turn the oven on 375 and let finish rising and bake. Comes out moist and and soft. It last a couple of days, does not dry out over time. Love it

I love the taste of this wheat bread but it does not rise properly during the baking process. It should be well-rounded as pictured but instead has a cooked but sunken crust. What adjustment should I make to this recipe?

I have finally found a wheat bread recipe that is soft and with a great taste that everyone likes. The wheat flavor is not too over powering and it makes wonderful toast and is also good for sandwiches.
