Blackened Halibut

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 2-1/2 teaspoons paprika
- 4 halibut fillets (4 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions
- In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first eight
- ingredients. Add fillets, two at a time, and shake to coat.
- In a large cast-iron skillet, cook fillets in butter over medium heat
- for 3-4 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a
- fork. Yield: 4 servings.
