This colorful treat is sure to satisfy the sweetest tooth in any family! It's always been a favorite with my nine kids, eight grandkids and my Bible study group. I even vary the soft-drink flavors to match other holidays during the year.

I could not find black cherry kool-aid so I used strawberry instead. Makes for a very pretty colored and flavored fudge. When you add the marshmallow creme and chocolate chips it starts to thicken. Work fast when you remove the 1 cup of white fudge as the cup cools rapidly. Quickly stir in the kool-aid and pour into your prepared pan, spreading it. I used a one cup dry measure to scoop the one cup out and set it in a smaller bowl. Spoon it out quickly and swirl as the one cup starts to set up and make it more difficult to do when you take "your time". (smiling) This recipe lends it's self to the many flavors of kool-aid though I do not know if all of them would taste good. I will make this again and would like to find the black raspberry flavor kool-aid. Oh, this is a very sweet fudge.

Easy peasy and lovely to boot. I am planning a green peppermint swirl fudge to add to clear bags with my cherry fudge for a festive looking and yummy holiday gift! So, so easy!!!

I've never heard of black cherry soft drink mix. Are you talking about kool aid?
