Berry Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen unsweetened raspberries
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Directions

  • Place the milk, berries and sugar in a blender; cover and process until smooth. Add ice cubes; cover and process until smooth. Yield: 3 servings.

Nutritional Analysis: One 1-cup serving (prepared with fat-free milk) equals 113 calories, trace fat (0 saturated fat), 1 mg cholesterol, 44 mg sodium, 26 g carbohydrate, 0 fiber, 3 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1 fruit, 1/2 fat-free milk.
