Berry Banana Smoothies

"I keep several bananas in the freezer so that I'm always ready to whip up this thick beverage for a quick breakfast or a tasty treat," relates Brenda Strohm, Omaha, Nebraska. "Frozen fruit gives it a great consistency...it's like drinking a berry milk shake!"

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup reduced-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 medium ripe banana, peeled, cut into chunks and frozen
  • 1/4 cup each frozen unsweetened strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries
  • 1 cup fat-free milk

Directions:

In a blender, combine all the ingredients; cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 3 servings.
