Meet the Cook: This taco dip is actually a combination of several different recipes I received from friends. I just experimented till I came up with my favorite! It's always a hit when I carry it to family gatherings, church potlucks, etc. -Faye Parker, Bedford, Nova Scotia

Delicious! My husband loves it. He called it a taco salad on a chip. So easy to make my four year old mixed the first three ingredients by herself.

I added one package of taco seasoning to the sour cream, mayo and cream cheese mixture so it was orange and it tasted way better and I also used sliced black olives and sliced green onions instead of regular onions and green pepper. Everyone asks for the recipe and everyone absolutely loves it!!!

Yum! I was not sure about cold ground beef, but it worked so well! I substituted salsa for the tomato sauce and taco seasoning.

I always make this for parties at the office and it is an office favorite. Tip I substitute 93% fat free ground turkey in place of ground beef and everyone still loves it. I also don't use the green peppers but use chopped green onions and sliced black olives as a garnish w/ the cheese and tomatoes. And if you really want to spruce it up for the ones who don't like ground meat I always add on the bottom layer refried beans w/ a packet of taco seasoning and you can't go wrong. Try it you'll like it to.

Easy and delicious! I added about a 3/4 cup of refried beans to the meat mixture and used salsa instead of tomato sauce. It was a hit!
