My husband took one bite and said "Mmmmmm!" I added low sodium taco seasoning, used medium picante sauce, added half a can of drained corn and put it over rice since it was a little soupy but it was great!

I place the tortilla pieces in the baking dish and pour the skillet mixture over them. After I stir the ingredients I sprinkle the extra cheese over the top and bake it without a cover. It browns the top this way. This has been a family favorite for years. It's simple and fast to make. Delicious as leftovers, too.

I added a couple tablespoons of taco seasoning & a little water, used fresh salsa instead of from a jar, a little more cheese than what the recipe called for, and also added a can of rinsed & drained pinto beans. It was great!

Delicious & simple, low budget also. Added taco seasoning mix to ground beef. Glad I did because it would have been bland for our taste. My husband, me & our 18 year old ate it all, no leftovers!

Very good and easy recipe. Like a previous review, I used taco seasoning with ground beef to add a little more flavor. I also used taco/mexican blend shredded cheese. Yum!

I made taco meat instead of just regular beef. It gave it more of a taco flavor. I also added some crushed red pepper flakes for a kick. Turned out quite yummy!

This recipe turns out so good, my family requests it on a regular basis. We don't make it often, but when we do, it vanishes very, very fast. It's a keeper, for sure.
