This was delicious! Needed a little salt but otherwise perfect.

This was really good. I made a few changes - used 1.5 lb ground beef, 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, and substitued the broccoli for corn...and a perhaps a little more cheese. Very Good!

My family LOVED this recipe. I used it with ground deer meat and used two cans of cream of broccoli. I will definitely make this again.

Please don't eat "Tater Tots", they are kid napped baby potatoes and some poor mom and pop potatoe are putting their children on missing tots posters in the US Post Office!

This sounds interesting, we love broccoli. Like with all recipes involving canned soup I will have to make my own broccoli soup. This may be the tater tot casserole my family will like.

no one really liked the taste, just ok

This is a great recipe. Because broccoli isn't one of my favorites, I followed another reviewer's suggestion to sub corn for the broccoli and cream of mushroom soup for the cream of broccoli. It was delicious. It was a big hit at the potluck. Yummy!

We added some mild chunky salsa to the top of this and my family loved it!

This was surprisingly good. I've never liked any tater tot casseroles, but pregnancy is making me try some different things. I cannot have dairy so I used my normal alternates and it turned out well.

Very good, I substituted cream of mushroom for cream of broccoli

That is not bad for fastfood. I would recommend you mix everyting with Tarter Tots instead of pouring over Tater Tots. It seems that the picture shows same.

I used corn instead of broccoli, (husband won't eat anything green)and cream of mushroom soup instead of the other soup. Also added 1/2 onion, chopped, to the ground beef. My husband loved it! He said it was like a "comfort food" that his mother used to make for him. It is true when they say that the way to a man's heart is thru his stomach! Will definitely make this again!

Family really enjoyed this meal. It is so quick and we really enjoyed the texture of creamy and crunchy. I did omit the tomato however.

We loved this recipe for dinner and for leftovers too. The only difference was I used fat-free broccoli cheddar soup instead of cream of broccoli. This is one of our new weeknight favs.

This is great and easy to make! Great to use when making meals for others or having lots of guests for dinner. I did make a few changes as well. I chopped my own onion and minced some fresh garlic and used cream of mushroom soup instead of broccoli. I only had cheddar cheese so I used that and canned diced tomatoes instead of fresh. I will definitely be using this recipe often.

This casserole was delicious. I did make some changes though. I used Cheddar Cheese soup in place of the Cream of Broccoli, left out the tomatoes and added extra milk to make the meat mixture smoother. I also used Mexican Pepper Jack and Colby cheese which gave it a little kick. My husband and daughter went back for seconds. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe.

YUMMM! that's the first thing that comes to mind. I was also skeptical at first, not a huge fan of canned broccoli soup, but it was delicious! My husband and I both enjoyed it, the teens said it was "ok" the two youngest wouldn't even try it because of looks, but I LOVED it. I'll be making it again whether they like it not. It's quick, easy and filling. I left out the tomatoes because my husband doesn't like them.

I was skeptical at first, but this dish was delicious! I omitted the tomato, and subbed green beans in for the broccoli. Three teenage boys and I all loved this! I will make this again very soon. Thanks for a great recipe!

TO DIE FOR!!! i made this for the first time today - used ground bison instead or beef, used mixed frozen veggies instead of broccoli, used cream of mushroom instead of cream of broccoli, and added a 1/4 cup of sour cream to mixture before baking. Perfect comfort food dish on a chilly day.

This is the only tater tot casserole I've ever liked. I do make a few changes, I use a whole bag of tater tots and I use 6 roma tomatoes. It is delicious and I just can't stop eating it!

Been making this recipe for probably 25 yrs now but with cream of mushroom soup. I've always cooked the broccoli before adding it. I also just layer the ground beef, broccoli and tomato...stir the soup, cheese and half the onion and spread it on top. I put tin foil on and bake and about 5 mins before it's done I take off the foil so it can brown a bit. Always a hit with family and friends.

Haven't tried this one yet, but very similar to one my husband and I both love. Made with Crispy Crowns instead of tater tots and Cr. of Celery Soup and shredded cheddar cheese. We use half the fr.fried onions & 1 cup of cheese in the beef mixture and reserve the rest. After baking, uncover and put the rest of fr.fried onions and cheddar cheese on top and put back in the oven til cheese melts and onions brown a little. Yummy, Yummy.

back in the '70's my mom made a version of this...ground beef with onion on bottom, string beans on top of that, tater tots on top of that and then cream of mushroom (undiluted) spread on top of that...always loved that dish and still make it today with my modifications

One modification would be to add mixed vegetables and use a Fiesta Cheese soup and tortilla chips instead of fried onions.

I would like to make this - but my husband is not a lover of broccoli . Can someone give me a hint on something to use instead?

Apparently I have tough critics in my house. My family didn't care for it but I loved it. Since I'm the one who made it, I'm giving it 5 stars. Based on what others wrote, I cooked the broccoli before I added it and I used broccoli cheese soup instead of the cream of broccoli. Next time I think I might leave the tomatoes out. It was deilcious. I kept going back for more. Can't wait to have leftovers for lunch today.

I got this recipe out of a Campbells soup recipe book over 10yrs ago. Interesting how someone can add garlic powder & not say the "condensed soup" is Campbells & put it in a magazine. Also the original recipe calls for cream of mushroom. I don't like mushrooms but this is one of my favorite meals!
