Cutting Green OnionsI recently tried a recipe that called for 3/4 cup green onions. Instead of using a knife, I found that snipping the onions with a pair of kitchen scissors took only a few seconds. —Kristy B., Kelowna, British Columbia

This was delicious! Used round steak and substituted canned baby corn for water chestnuts. I couldn't find a small red chili pepper, so I substituted 1/2 a sliced red bell pepper (cooked with the corn & green onions). The flavor was complex and authentic and this makes an ample 4-5 servings. Will make this again!

I made this last night for my boyfriend and I, and was surprised by the great flavor of the sauce for such a quick recipe. I will definitely be making this dish again; the possibilities for variations on the veggies are endless. Thanks!

Made it for ds and dh and both had seconds and said it was really tasty. The only minor changes I made were that I used sirloin steak, added a sliced red bell pepper along with the onions and water chestnuts, vermicelli instead of spaghetti and a 9 oz. bag of prewashed spinach and didn't chop the spinach.
