Basil Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  • Place the brussels sprouts and water in a 2-qt. microwave-safe dish. Cover and microwave on high for 6-8 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain. Combine the butter, salt, basil and pepper; drizzle over brussels sprouts and toss to coat. Yield: 4-6 servings.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (3/4 cup) equals 133 calories, 8 g fat (5 g saturated fat), 20 mg cholesterol, 312 mg sodium, 14 g carbohydrate, 6 g fiber, 5 g protein.
