Barbecued Ribs Recipe
  • Prep: 10 min. Bake: 1-3/4 hours

Ingredients

  • 3 to 3-1/2 pounds pork spareribs
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  • Place in a single layer in a 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan. Bake at 325° for 30-35 minutes; drain.
  • In a large saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Pour over ribs. Bake 50-60 minutes longer, basting occasionally. Cut into serving-size pieces. Yield: 6 servings.

So far the best recipe for ribs I made
