I grew up in a family of eight kids, and we never complained if Mom made these terrific hot dogs often for birthday parties and other family gatherings. You'll find that kids and grown-ups devour these...good thing they're easy to make. -Joyce Koehler, Watertown, Wisconsin

Back around 1996 my mother-in-law gave me the issue of TOH magazine in which this recipe first appeared. This recipe has been a family favorite every since. This recipe is frequently requested for birthdays and other family get-togethers.

I've been making this recipe since my children were little. Even my daughter that doesn't like hotdogs loves this. Now I make it for my grandchildren. I've shared this recipe often. It's always a hit and so easy.

This is the perfect recipe for the starving college student. I made this multiple times for me and my roommates. It's cheap, easy and unbelievably delicious! I highly recommend this recipe!

Delicious! I cut the recipe in half. Kids loved them and so did the adults. Thanks!

Instead of baking these I put them in a crock pot and took them to a potluck. I let them cook on high for about 1 hour (until heated through) everyone loved them. The crock pot kept them hot and ready to serve.

What a great way to dress up ordinary hot dogs! We have fixed this recipe often since first trying it, and we continue to do so. They are equally as good reheated, too!
