Chuck roast makes delicious shredded beef sandwiches after simmering in a rich, homemade sauce all day. The meat is tender and juicy and takes minutes to prepare for a weeknight dinner or potluck. —Tatina Smith, San Angelo, Texas

This was very good but I do wish the sauce was a little more tangy or spicy.

This recipe was great and easy. I used a sirloin tip roast and it worked great. It made a lot for just our family of four, but I wanted to try it before I made it for my son's birthday party. It freezes well too.

This was a very good bbq recipe. Entire family agreed very close 2nd to a favorite pork recipe. The pickles, pickled jalapenos, and onions were superb toppings.

I also used a bottom round roast since that was all I had available. This recipe came out excellent! Definitely the best bbq beef recipe I have tried. I can't wait to make it again!!

This is a definite keeper! I subbed Gulden's spicy brown mustard for the Dijon, but that's the only change I made. Wonderful flavor!!

This one's a winner - easy, with ingredients I already had on hand. My family loved this for dinner tonight.

The family is very picky, especially with crockpot recipes, but they loved this one! We even made burritos out of it the next day. YUM YUM

BEST SERVED THE SOUTHERN WAY WITH BAKED BEANS AND COLESLAW. CAN'T BE ALY BETTER THAN THAT.

This is really excellent. My husband, who says he doesn't like barbecue loves this. It is easy to make because you just throw everything in the crockpot and forget it.

used no salt as am low salt diet and there is enough salt in the other ingredients. Works great with hunters meats also.

I doubled the liquid smoke the 2nd time I made it and it really intensified the flavor. Delicious!

I'm sure there are a million ways to make this dish, but this recipe is a great, easy way to prepare BBQ beef. My fiancée loved it. I think next time I might add a little bit of bourbon to the sauce mixture and maybe a little bit of hot pepper sauce for some extra spice.

I believe I actually used a bottom round roast as that is what I had available, but my husband just told me a few minutes ago it was one of the best things I have ever made. We've been married for over 25 years!!!! It was like Sloppy Joes without the greasy hamburger.

I used ground beef instead of a chuck roast. I made this for a Memorial Day gathering. It turned out wonderful. The liquid smoke gives the flavor of cooking on the fire. I will make this again.
