These are REALLY good and quick to fix. I will be making these a lot!

So good!! Added a little more cheese, but either way a great recipe. My family loved them.

Wow these were awesome!!! I needed something quick to add with a beef stew that was cooking and in no time I had these wonderful tasting rolls. The only thing I did different was I forgot to add the cheese. The hubby said they were GREAT without the cheese. Will be making these again. Loved the garlic, honey, and butter flavor with the melt in your mouth rolls.

Great for making fast homemade bread while you cook the rest of your foods. I sometimes omit the honey and drizzle butter with garlic salt over the top... Yumm!

All five of us love these melt-in-your-mouth rolls. A wonderful blend of sweet and savory make them good with or without butter. I love that I can make them without taking all day to do it. The only downside is that one recipe doesn't last long enough!

Of course, when I use this recipe for other dishes, I leave off the cheese, honey, and garlic salt.

This is by far the best yeast recipe I have ever made. And it's quick too. Not much fuss. I make it even when I'm in a hurry. tonight I'm using it for stromboli. I've been making these for at least a year and keep coming back again and again.

Super easy to do and delicious. Followed this recipe with no deviations. So good! :) From now on, this is gonna be my "go to" for easy bread. I did start making them around 3 to have them ready for dinner.

This was a wonderful recipe, so better homemade. Never again will I buy rolls from in fridge department!

My husband and I call this recipe "death by rolls". Un believable! I make alot I mean alot of bread and rolls usually my own recipes. His is one I make exactly as written

Great recipe. I used by bread machine to mix, but next time I will not. I think the recipe is easier without it.

I had made these rolls previously and they didn't turn out, however, I tried them again today with much better results! They were quick (about 1 hour start to finish), tender, and light. I will be making them again!

I did not put garlic salt on mine. Just the honey butter. They were fabulous!

Liked this recipe because it is quick and easy and every tasty.

I tried these rolls for the first time last night, using no cheese, garlic, or honey, as the rest of the meal contained lots of cheese and garlic. They turned out perfectly. I did brush on just the melted butter after baking. What a nice recipe to have --- no need to head to the market for fresh rolls at the last minute, as these can be ready so quickly.

These rolls are fast, easy and delicious! I certainly will be making them again!

These were wonderful. As others suggested, I mixed it in my bread machine. I did not utilize the cheddar cheese or the garlic since it did not fit with the other flavors in the menu. I used a scant 2 cups of bread machine flour and added a tablespoon of milk to the dough to reach the desired consistency. I followed the usual bread machine directions of liquids first and yeast last. It was such a hit, the kids suggested it should be a weekly feature at Sunday dinner.

I made these using the "dough" setting on my bread machine. Turned out great and the machine did all the work.

Really easy, have never made bread before. I will now make these every Sunday when we gather with our Family for dinner. I could even make them during the week they are so fast and easy.

These rolls are awesome and super easy to make! My husband is a "breadaholic" and he approves!

Reviewed on Mar. 25, 2011 by ltcape

These were so quick. I did not have quick yeast on hand, but they still rose in about 30 minutes. These taste amazing and are one of the easiest recipes I've ever made. I'm going to throw out my old roll recipes and always do this. I used my KitchenAid mixer to do the kneading, so it was almost effortless. Thanks for sharing!!

If make these without the cheese and garlic, and they are SOOO good. I love yeast rolls, but usually have to start making them by 2pm to have them for dinner. The quick-rise yeast enables me to have them on the table, start to finish in under 1 1/2 hrs. I really don't bother to look at other roll recipes now--why bother, this one never disappoints!

I have made these 3 more times since discovering the recipe, all with RAVE reviews! I omit the cheese, we cannot taste the difference, other than that, I follow the recipe. My 3yo go excited today, because he figured out by the smell what i was making!

I've never thought I could make anything that included the words, "yeast" and "knead", oh and let "rise". But this recipe seemed so good I deceided to try it. It is easy, delicious and now I am ready to try others with these same words in them! Thanks TOH.!

MY GOODNESS THESE ARE THE BEST!

I have made these so many times I have lost count. I make the dough in my bread machine and they are beyond excellent. I do double the honey butter recipe for use on the top.

I have made these twice and my family REALLY likes them!!! I love the topping!

I am making these rolls for the second time this week, my family loves them? My suggestion to the people who are finding them too heavy is to only use the minimum amount of flour.

Reviewed on Feb. 01, 2010 by melissawatson

these have great flavor, but the texture is a bit heavy...does this mean i am over kneading the dough? This is the first bread recipe I have EVER made and it was easy and tasty. Any tips on getting the texture of a Sister Shubert roll would be helpful. Thanks

These are great yeast rolls. I couldn't really taste the cheese, but they were yummy anyway. I would suggest that if you like garlic, add more of the garlic salt to the butter, as there was only the slightest hint of garlic on the top of the rolls.

I had the exact same problem as Rose51. I finally claimed the free Simple and Delicious issue just to access the recipe. I had made these before and lost the recipe already, and they are actually worth this much hassle to get the recipe back - they are that good!

I made this recipe for my family and they loved them! Using the dough hook on my mixer eliminated the hand kneading. Thanks for a great recipe!

Every time I try to see one of these recipes, it tells me I have to be a subsciber in order to see it.  I subscribe to two of the magazines, so could someone post this recipe on this board so I can see it?  Thanks.
