Baked Spinach Souffle Recipe

Ingredients

  • 20 ounces chopped frozen spinach
  • Pinch black pepper
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 cup plain whole milk yogurt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • Pinch salt

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Coat 13-inch x 9-inch x 2-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Prepare the frozen spinach according to package directions.
  • Coat large skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium. Cook the garlic and onions 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • In large bowl, mix cooked spinach, onion and garlic mixture, yogurt, sour cream, cheddar cheese, eggs, egg whites, Worcestershire sauce, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Transfer to baking dish.
  • Bake 40 minutes. Serve immediately.
