We loved it! The only change I made was to reduce the brown sugar to 3 heaping tablespoons, because my husband has high sugar. I sauteed some Granny Smith apple wedges as a topping and the whole family loved this for a special breakfast. Perfect for a snowy morning!

we love oatmeal for breakfast (just the 2 of us) grated some apple, added dried cranberries, more cinnamon/ apple pie spice - the house smells so heavenly!! will be making again!! we froze some for another morning - shared with my daughter and she could not say enough about it..

I have made this recipe for 10 years and every time I make it for someone who has not had it, they ask for the recipe. My sister, who never bakes, once made it in the middle of the night b/c she had to have it. It is a wonderful mixture of sweet and moist and satisfying. I always really pack the brown sugar and even mound it so that it's sweet enough. What's also great is that so many people have never had anything like it, and so you feel like you're making something new and special. It's fabulous!

Made this following the recipe the first time and seemed sort of bland, bit still good. Added some nuts and dried fruit the second time plus doubled the recipe and put into a bigger pan and it turned out amazing! This with will be a go to recipe for our family!

I made this and even the picky kids ate it. It was delicious with milk on it as shown in the picture. Next time I will try some of the substitutions that the other reviewers mentioned. I froze our leftovers for fast breakfasts and we'll see how that turns out.
