Baked Lemon Haddock Tips

What does haddock taste like?

Haddock is a popular white fish in the same family as cod, sometimes used interchangeably. Haddock is a thinner and lean filet that has a mild flavor profile and is incredibly versatile, whether you're making a simple-yet-impressive Haddock en Papillote or crispy baked haddock topped with bacon and tomatoes.

Is it better to bake fish covered or uncovered?

This baked haddock recipe does not need covering while it’s baking in the oven. The bread crumb mixture will help lock in some moisture, while at the same time it’s getting nice and crispy texture due to being uncovered in the oven.

What goes with baked haddock?

Serve baked haddock with any vegetable dish like roasted asparagus or sauteed green beans or one of our favorite potato recipes.
