Baked Lemon Chicken Recipe

Baked Lemon Chicken Recipe Baked Lemon Chicken Recipe photo by Taste of Home Rating 4

THIS lovely chicken is as good cold as it is right out of the oven. It's moist, tender and lemony with a nice crunch. It's a delicious picnic entree as well as a wonderful meal with scalloped or baked potatoes and a fresh green salad on the side. -Marion Lowery, Medford, Oregon

My family loves this recipe. The chicken is very tender and juicy.

Too much citrus flavor and not enough garlic. I don't think I'll make this again.

We really like this moist, mildly seasoned chicken. I usually serve it with Bacon Chive Potato salad - both the are great served warm or cold, so they make the perfect leftovers.

This was so fast and easy! Will definitely make it again.

My daughter made this light, delicious recipe. Couldn't wait to get home and try it myself.

This chicken is so moist and juicy! I pounded the chicken thin first.

I added a couple of packets of True Lemon & some lemon pepper for additional citrus flavor without the extra liquid more lemon juice would add.

I would double the amount of sauce so there's more to serve with the chicken.

This was not very good. It lacked so much flavor. It needed more lemon juice for sure, and maybe bolder flavored seasonings like cayenne or paprika??? But the worse part was drizzling some of the butter mixture on top made the coating soggy. I was very disappointed in this recipe, especially since b/s chicken breasts are so expensive.

Very moist and flavorful! My boyfriend said we could have it every evening. I will try cutting the chicken smaller though, as others have suggested.

I used chicken strips instead of breasts - they were good, not great, but good enough to make again sometime. (Also easy to make)

very good! Will add a little more garlic next time to make it even better=)

It was perfect a big family hit! Making it a third time I like to cut the chicken into smaller pieces to stretch the flavor further. The larger breasts were great but not as flavorful as the small.

This recipe was a BIG hit! I added a little more lemon juice as my husband and I like things with a little tartness. I also added a little more garlic. This is a definite keeper!

Great recipe!! It really is all in what you pair it with that either makes or breaks the recipe. Steamed veggies with tad bit of butter & pepper & scalloped potatoes for sides allows the lemon/garlic to shine thru in the chicken! :) Thank you for posting this recipe!!

I agree with Domino. Great recipe and the chicken came out nice and moist except I felt like I needed just a little bit more flavor. I may add more lemon juice next time. This is still a great recipe that I will make over and over!

Easy, moist, good flavors. Friends who came for dinner loved it. A keeper - recipe would be easy to adapt for larger and smaller groups.

This was yummy chicken and we enjoyed it very much. I added fresh grated Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup)and 1-1/2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes to the bread crumbs, which were Italian seasoned. Thanks!

Chicken turned out nice and juicy, but it was too bland as its. It needs some more spices to liven it up.
