Baked French Chicken Drumsticks Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • 6 teaspoons canola corn oil, divided
  • Pinch garlic salt, to taste
  • Pinch black pepper, to taste

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Arrange chicken legs in a 9-inch x 13-inch baking pan.
  • Dab 1 teaspoon of corn oil spread on each leg and sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper.
  • Bake in preheated oven 30 minutes. Turn legs over.
  • Bake another 35 to 40 minutes.

This was really simple and easy to make. I like the cooking method -- it kept the chicken moist and tasty. We like things more on the spicy side, so we added some red/ancho chili pepper, and rosemary (not for spiciness, we just like the flavor of it).
