I often fix this comforting dish for my grown children when they visit. They love it when I double the recipe so they can take leftovers home! This recipe can be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated before baking.

If you have too many onions- this is an excellent side dish. It could also be a great casserole topping if reduced just a little. All four of my children asked for more!

Easy and quite tasty. Kind of tastes like onion rings. Great side dish. Can be made the night before and cooked the next day.

Great Dish! It is just as good (if not better) warmed up the next day. I will be making this again.
