This is the only way I make applesauce only I make a much larger batch. I fill a 9 x 13 baking dish with apples and add the same ingredients on a larger scale. Cover with foil and bake. Mash with a fork. Best applesauce ever!

Add a sprinkling of pie crust & a dollop of whipped cream to this & you have apple pie without the guilt!
