Hey Cdunks, I have been doing this with turkey bacon for a while, I will soak the Asparagus in Italian dressing for about 10 minutes first and then wrap them. Two stalks per piece of Bacon, one of my friends did this a few years back and I thought it was delicious. They would also use ham sometimes.

Unfortunately us apartment dwellers don't have grills, but these can be made in the oven. 8 minutes at 350, flip, 8 more minutes, and then set to Broil to crisp the bacon right up. Yum!

This is very good. Also can be done in the oven. I like to use prosciutto instead of bacon when I can afford it. And I brush with olive oil, sprinkle with tarragon or thyme for a different flavor, then bake in the oven at 350 degrees until nicely roasted. Yummy! (Nice idea to serve them with tomatos, too.)

Evidently "waxed paper" didn't read the directions. Who would use spray without the w. paper to catch excess?

It was very good, we used turkey bacon and wrapped 2 asparagus per slice of bacon.
