My family was tired of the same old potato salad at family functions, so I created this with the ingredients I had on hand. Now I'm always asked to bring it to get-togethers. —Tami Gallagher, Eagan, Minnesota

My husband HATES potato salad but he liked this recipe. I think it tastes similar to deviled eggs, we devoured it.

My family loved this. I substituted bacon bits for the 7 bacon strips. I only used a cup of mayo and it still made way too much dressing for my taste. Next time I will halve the dressing ingredients.
