“My husband and I both love these roll-ups. I often serve them with broccoli and cheese. They must be good, because this recipe won a first place prize at the Iowa State Fair!” Jessica Cain — Des Moines, IA

I used Mild Cheddar cheese instead of Velveeta, and they were excellent! Some extra seasonings would have made them even better though.

I really enjoyed the results of this recipe (in fact, I'm eating one right now!) and I would definitely make it again. I followed a lot of the recommendations that other users noted, and my beef mixture had a can of (drained) Italian-flavoured tomatoes added alongside the onions as the beef cooked, and to flavour it, I used honey, basil, garlic salt, two dashes of allspice, and (for half of them) some curry powder. The results were amazing, but I WOULD strongly suggest that one be prepared for leftovers if only using one can of biscuits, and I would also VERY strongly suggest that the cooking time be lowered to about fourteen minutes - or at least, check for doneness then, because the bottoms of mine were QUITE dark after sixteen minutes. EXCELLENT recipe!

My husband and I love this recipe! I leave out the bacon and chopped onion but add pepper, seasoning salt and dried chopped onions. So good!!!

I used crescent rolls and cut them in half and rolled them out to make smaller roll-ups and took them to a church cook out. I also used cheddar cheese instead and tripled the ingredients and not one was left. What a great recipe!

My family enjoyed this recipe. I didn't have velvetta on hand, so I used pepperjack cheese. My sons had a great time rolling out the biscuits and filling them.

It was a pain to get the biscuits thin enough and velveeta cheese is just not good. My husband and son enjoyed it but it's too much work for something that does not taste like a good cheeseburger. I will not be making these again. I will stick to the real cheeseburger.

I didn't put onion in but other than that found this to be a very easy recipe. Definitely a hit.
I cooked the bacon and the hamburger together. I omitted the onion.I did like how it turned out though mine were more like wraps than roll ups. I didn't put a whole lot of meat in them but they were good so will make more biscuits today and use up what is left. It only took mine 14 minutes to bake up. Definitely a hit!

Cooked the bacon first with a hanging bacon maker in the microwave, then crumbled it into the cooked ground beef, rather thab dice the raw bacon. Used cheddar cheese and a dash of worcestershire sauce to mix. Turned out fine.

I plan to try using crescent rolls instead of biscuits. Am planning to make this for our next potluck.
