this recipe was great. i made it for my famiy and everyone loved it. my husband said it was his new favorite meal and our kids amazingly ate every bite even as picky as they are. the only thing i will change next time is add a bit more bacon. thanks for the great recipe

I also added onion, Worcestershire and garlic salt, but cooked the onion, hamburger and bacon all together. The extra grease helps saute the onion and crisp the bacon. Then I drained before adding pasta and sauces. Not too spectacular until you add the BBQ and mustard (I mixed in about 1/2 c BBQ and 1/4 c mustard), then did the cheese last. It was great for both my kids.

This was really good. I added onion and garlic to the hamburger, I added a couple tbs of garlic worcestershire sauce, a dash of hot sauce and I used about 2TBS of honey mustard. I also used the pre-cooked bacon that you just pop in the microwave and its done, so much easier that way. I will definately make this again and again.

This is a great base recipe! I added onions and garlic powder to it as well as added the BBQ sauce to the mix as I cooked it. Next time I'll add green and red peppers to it as well. It was quick and easy to make!

My whole family LOVES this recipe! I like to add bbq sauce, I think it gives it that extra something.

it was okay, but nothing to write home about. it's basically hamburger helper with bbq sauce if you added that.

This is so delicious! I added onion, garlic, salt, pepper, barbecue sauce & spicy brown mustard. Very easy to make & very tasty! Will make again!

This is a super fast and yummy recipe. I have made it many times and like it even better when I add some chopped onions, garlic, and worchestershire sauce to the beef. I also highly recommend using the BBQ sauce and mustard-they are a must! YUM!

This dish is very tasty. I made it for a get together yesterday and everyone loved it. I did make some changes after reading reviews previously posted. I used a pound of bulk Sweet Italian Sausage for the ground beef, I used 1/2 jar of real bacon pieces, to make it easier, added a chopped onion and garlic to the sausage when cooking, and used 2/3 cup Sweet Baby Ray's Vadalia Onion BQ sauce and 1 T. mustard. The flavors were outstanding.

LOVE how easy this is to make, and it taste great. I used mustard on top of mine, instead of the BBQ sauce.

I added 1/4 " dice onion, caramelized -used the whole onion. The BBQ sauce at the end was great!

next time I would add 1 tsp of worchestire and 1 tsp of mustard to give it a little zing. Tasty but a tad bland.

This was very good! We added some onion and garlic to the hamburger to enhance the flavor!

I chopped up half of an onion and cooked with the hamburger then added 2/3 cup of BBQ sauce and 1 T of mustard as someone else had suggested. I thought this recipe was good but my husband would have said it was excellent so I gave it 5 stars. It is fast and easy so I will be making it again.

Super easy, super quick, and super de-lish! I've been making this for years now, and it is one of my family's favorites.

Very good! The BBQ sauce & mustard gives it the "kick" it needs.

This is my husbands all time favorite, which is funny because it is so easy. The only change needed on this is I add 2/3 cup of BBQ Sauce and 1T Mustard. This is an awesome dish to refrigerate and heat up throughout the weak for lunches or dinner stragglers!

I have made this a lot and add chopped onion and garlic in with the beef and sometimes a can of tomatoes. The BBQ sauce and mustard add a wonderful taste!!

Reviewed on Jan. 07, 2009 by scarlet286

I had a pound of ground turkey meat, so I used it instead. This was still delicious! I wish I'd had BBQ sauce to try with it, but mustard was surprisingly good as well. Even my boyfriend liked it!

Added sauted onions, black and cayenne peppers, and fresh tomato because it was really bland.
