This recipe was a big disappointment. The glowing reviews were in sharp contrast to my experience. Don't even know if I'd want it sitting on top of a baked potato!

A really good dip, guests loved it. I made half of this dip for 6 people and it was more than enough, would reduce the quantity again next time around. Used 3 green onions (not 1-1/2) and 1 c of Oscar Mayer bacon bits, which turned out to be a bit too much. Added half a can of well drained rotel and made the dip the night before. Will make it again for sure.

This is a true keeper!!!!! It makes plenty and our family had a hard time staying out of it. Making this tomorrow for my daughters graduation party....I am sure this dip will be a hit at this event as well.

I kept looking for more seasonings and couldn't believe it really didn't need any. I made this just as written, except took one shortcut. I bought precooked bacon at Sam's. Cooked it in the micro and cut it up with kitchen shears. I also read earlier reviews and drained my roma tomatoes well, even patted them, with paper towels. Delicious just as written.

Followed the recipe exactly except used low fat sour cream and light mayo for a group of 10 people and everyone loved it and ate it generously but it was still too much. Served with thinly sliced baguette and finely shredded lettuce on the side. I cut the raw bacon in to small pieces to cook using regular carefully washed scissors - much easier than trying to crumble slices of cooked bacon . Used scissors to cut the green onions as well. Loved the idea one reviewer suggested of adding ranch dressing mix and will try that next time. Used the leftover dip as a sandwich spread on a roast beef sandwich. omg it was sooo good. Thanks for a great recipe!

This was delectable. Easy enough to make. I didn't like the taste of the bacon bits even though they were real bacon. Used real bacon, and low fat mayo and sour cream. Also halved the recipe since it was for a smaller crowd. Not a drop left. great recipe for super bowl parties.
